Sending a child to NewGate represents a significant financial investment for most families. At the same time, independent schools, like ours, rely on tuition, instead of government funding. Our families recognize and appreciate that NewGate is an education for life.

We encourage you to drop off your student 15 minutes before school starts.
Pick-up starts on time at 3:15 (Ashton campus) and 3:30 (Lakewood Ranch campus).

NewGate Offers Three Payment Options
Payment Plans are available through TADS (www.tads.com), our online tuition management service provider.
1. Discount for Prepayment of Tuition
Single Payment and Discounts:
- Tuition paid in full by 3/1 5% discount applied.
- Tuition paid in full by 4/1 4% discount applied.

2. Two Payments
Two Installments Payment Plan:
- 60% due on or before March 1
- 40% due on or before October 1
- Incur no service charges
3. Monthly Installments
Monthly Installments Payment Plan:
- Installment payments begin June 1 and are paid monthly through March 30.
- Tuition must be paid in full by March 30 regardless of the enrollment date
- 3% service processing charge and one-time non-refundable TADS fee of $45 per family

New student non-refundable application fee: $150
Continuous Enrollment Deposit: $500 (due on or before Feb. 15)
Sibling Discount: $500 reduction in tuition for each additional child.
Additional Information
Enrollment Deposit
Upon acceptance, a non-refundable enrollment deposit of $750 is due with the completed Enrollment Agreement. The enrollment deposit will be deducted from the last installment of the selected installment option.

Tuition Payment Plans
TADS is the agency that manages tuition payment plans. The first installment is due on June 1st (or on enrollment if a student is admitted after July). Monthly payments can be made on the 1st or 15th of each month, with all tuition paid in full by April 1st. The monthly tuition payment plan incurs a 3% service charge along with a $45 TADS processing fee per family.
Non-Discrimination Policy
NewGate School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at our school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic, or sexual orientation origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
Financial Aid
Financial Aid: The financial aid committee bases financial aid decisions on the needs of the family for the upcoming year. The definition of financial aid is “a reduction in tuition granted to families that have a legitimate need determined by an objective and independent third-party assessment of their financial position.” TADS is the third-party reviewer for the financial aid process. Find the application for financial assistance online in your TADS account. Families who receive financial aid need to complete a new application annually.

Financial aid allows us to create a more diverse school community. NewGate’s budget includes a need-based financial aid fund for families who could not otherwise afford full tuition. Applications for financial aid are considered by TADS through a confidential analysis of the family’s financial need. Enrolled families may apply for financial aid through TADS.
