💫 Our White Street Campus Is Opening This Month!! 🌟

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of the key individuals working tirelessly toward this enormous accomplishment for our school & our community.  The momentous opening of our second, satellite campus (across from Sandy’s on White St!) means we can now accommodate more students across more programs, making authentic Montessori education accessible to more island children, for more years of their lives.

Can you help us move?

Our Upper Elementary & Middle School programs are moving to our new Satellite Campus on White Street THIS WEEK!  We are seeking volunteers (grown-ups only unfortunately due to a pending City Fire Inspection for full licensing) to help tomorrow, Friday, and Monday!  Sign up here:  Coco Plum Upper Elementary: Moving Time! Intent to Remain Forms – Due March 12

Each year the start of our Admissions Season begins with prioritizing our currently enrolled students.  Please help us plan for next school year by completing the attached Intent to Remain Form and returning to Ms. Alex in the front office before March 12.  This is not a contract.  It simply helps us to plan our classroom spaces and map new & waitlist families to available spaces. Plogging

The best way to teach our kids to give back to & care for our community is to give back to our community with our kids here to see & partake.  On Friday, March 13th we will have a Professional Day with No School, but we are taking the opportunity to care for our neighborhood by hosting the Plogging in the Keys organization’s weekly clean up.  If you are in town, please plan to join us from 8-9AM – grown ups & kiddos alike – to pick up trash & cigarette butts from our surrounding streets (did you know cigarette butts are collected separately and used to make benches?!)  We will host a breakfast-style snack afterwards for the Ploggers – if you are able to donate goodies here is a sign up! PLOGGING BREAKFAST DONATIONS

Weekly Miracle Makers

Oftentimes it feels like our school is powered by Miracles.  Miracles large and small happen each week to pull off all that we do here.  Those miracles appear in acts of love and kindness and service by parents, children, staff, alumni, community members, and more, and each week we highlight a special one here.

This week’s Miracle Maker is Maria Schmidt, who gifted us beautiful office furniture to outfit our new satellite campus.  We are still looking for furniture donations to outfit our new space, specifically CHAIRS!  Do you have extra chairs hanging around you are willing to donate to our new campus?  Please let Ms. Amy or Ms. Dawn know!  And thank you to Maria & Anthony for your generous donations & for always thinking of our school.
