Happy Friday MCS Community!

Administrative Announcements

We are in need of painters & leaf blowing for campus clean up! If you are interested in helping out and gaining some work pay hours with these tasks please speak to Ms. Amy.

As part of our ongoing Accreditation process with IMC we need our community to complete a series of surveys about our school. Survey 3 is below. Thank you for taking a moment to complete it so we can finalize our multi-year journey to Accreditation with IMC!

Parent Education Series

Our Fall Parent Education Series will take place during the second week of October. Each program’s Lead Guides prepare a special, focused education session for their parents, two times per year. Childcare is provided for each session. We highly encourage you to take advantage of this special opportunity to meet with and learn from your child’s Lead Guide. Oftentimes many parents leave these sessions feeling renewed in their approach to parenting; with new tools to use at home, a greater understanding of their child’s day here at school, and a deeper connection to their child’s learning journey. It is a worthwhile use of an hour.

Weekly Miracle Makers

Oftentimes it feels like our school is powered by Miracles. Miracles large and small happen each week to pull off all that we do here. Those miracles appear in acts of love and kindness and service by parents, children, staff, alumni, community members, and more, and each week we highlight a special one here.

This week’s Miracle Maker is Jake Grzyb, dad of Lily in our Primary program. Jake has come to the rescue on several maintenance issues and tasks for us in the first few weeks of school, including installing the new front gate lock for us. Thank you, Jake, for the helping hand and willingness to help maintain our beautiful little campus.
