Corporation Meeting – Last of the Year!
Throughout the year we hold three Parent/Corporation Meetings (we are all members of the Corporation at Montessori Children’s School.) The last of the three meetings this year will be Thursday, May 22nd at 6PM here on campus. The meeting typically lasts 45 minutes, it’s ok to bring the kids. Meeting attendance is worth 1 work/pay hour. This is a great opportunity to learn more about high level plans for the school (including expansion of our programs, a second campus, and other exciting goals) as well as a chance to interact with other parents and our staff outside of school hours.
End of Year Celebration
Please join us in celebrating a fantastic and memorable school year at our End of Year Celebration on the Front Lawn. We will have DJ Jimmy Jamz and an exciting raffle of some great items. Please bring a picnic blanket and your dinner. We will have a potluck-style snack & dessert spread so please sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F44ACA822A2FD0-56936320-endofyear
Weekly Miracle Makers
Oftentimes it feels like our school is powered by Miracles. Miracles large and small happen each week to pull off all that we do here. Those miracles appear in acts of love and kindness and service by parents, children, staff, alumni, community members, and more, and each week we highlight a special one here.
This week’s Miracle Makers are our Upper Elementary Team, Ms. Dawn & Ms. Melissa, who are currently chaperoning a 3 day (2 overnights!) camping trip for the class at SeaBase, funded by an exciting grant located by Ms. Dawn. The photos and updates are magic – what a treasure of an experience for these kids. It is a Miracle to have this team running our Upper Elementary program.
