“ESTABLISHING LASTING PEACE IS THE WORK OF EDUCATION, ALL POLITICS CAN DO IS KEEP US OUT OF WAR.” Maria Montessori

Dear Kapok Parents,

Ms. Marjorie and I hope that you are having a great winter break and we wish you a very Happy Holidays. We deeply appreciate all the gifts and thoughtful cards we got.

Although December was a short month the Kapoks were hard at work. We observed the classroom “normalized” and productive. If you are not familiar with the Montessori lingo, the process of “Normalization” is described as a phenomenon that happens when the child shows spontaneous discipline, continuous and happy work, social sentiments of help and sympathy for others.

During this month, Kapoks learned and practiced how to warp and give a present, and how to unwrap and accept a present, They also learned how to make and send a holiday card, and the process of sending a letter or a card.

We know Holidays can be stressful. That is why I thought this article about how to help your child to calm down during the Holidays could be helpful.

How to Help Your Child Calm Down During the Holidays

Our wish of Love and Peace to you during this Holiday Seasons.

Happy 2017 !!!
