Dear Parents,
We’ve had an active month during November with the children busy as bees working away in the class. As the year has progressed the children have settled into their daily rhythm. They are focused and absorbent as they move throughout the day.
A good time was had by all at our harvest share. The Gumbos shared delicious bread and butter for our contribution. They had been prepping all week with the butter making lesson and measuring, mixing and kneading the dough for the bread. We gathered picnic style on the front play ground and shared what we were thankful for.Our K’s proudly served the food with love and kindness to all their friends. They had superb stone soup from the Kapok’s and yummy apple sauce from our Banyan friends. It was great for primary to share a special meal together.
Our Bake Sale is fast approaching (Dec 15th-16th). This a great chance for us to raise funds for new materials for our class. Please contact Narceline our room mom for more info, and lookout for a baked goods sign up sheet which will be posted in our sign in/out book.
The students were excited with our Volcano work this past month and we will continue with our study of land formations and exploring Dinosaurs. Thank you for interesting books, and any information on topic is always welcome for our group times.
The sign up sheet for Parent conferences will be situated outside the front office. Please feel free to find the best time for you. With conferences on the 5th, 7th, and 9th December, early dismissal is at 12.30.
Thank you,
Peace, Ms Nicole Ms Pascale
