Pigeon Plum Classroom
Welcome to the Mangrove Classroom serving Pre-Primary students ages eighteen months through three.
Directress, Liz Campbell received her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Boston University’s School of Education in 2005 and began her teaching career that same year in Key West, Florida, as a Head Start Teacher for 3 year-olds. In 2006, she taught Kindergarten and received a Florida highly qualified teacher certification. In 2008, she was the Directress of MCS’s first Toddler Class. She then moved to Texas and taught pre-school for two years. She says her family happily moved back to Key West in the winter of 2011, which allowed her to come back to MCS as the Directress of our part-time Pre-Primary Program. Miss Liz was born and raised in Chatham, New Jersey.
Assistant, Kirsten Miller and her family recently moved to Key West after falling in love with the island while on vacation. Kirsten worked as a yacht broker and surgical assistant in Annapolis, Maryland. She is married and has two young daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family boating and exploring the Keys.
