Gumbo Limbo Classroom

Welcome to the Gumbo Limbo Classroom serving Primary Students ages three through six.

Directress, Adele Williams received her American Montessori Society certification as Directress in Early Childhood Education in 2003. She also holds a B.S. in Biology/Earth Science from the University of the Northern Territory, Darwin, Australia. She is currently undertaking a M.S. in Marine Biology with Nova Southeastern University. Adele has worked as a Lead Teacher at the Montessori Children’s School of Key West since 2005. Prior to working as a Montessori Directress, Adele has worked as a biologist and educational specialist for the FWS and as a Museum taxonomist. Adele’s two children have attended the Montessori Children’s School as well as the Montessori Charter School and are now both middle school students. She believes that the global perspective presented to children in a Montessori environment is crucial to a healthy world. Adele is committed to Maria Montessori’s philosophy and endeavors to teach tolerance and peace, following the child “whenever humanly possible”.

Assistant, Pascale Beregovoi-Davis is originally from the United Kingdom and has lived in the United States since 1995. She was first interested in Montessori education when her daughter started at the Montessori Elementary Charter School. When not working, Pascale loves to cycle around town and really enjoys playing music with friends – Pascale plays the violin! Through her experience as an artist, Pascale offers an array of talents to her students and she enjoys working on crafts and gardening with the children.
